What is a Victaulic coupling?

Victaulic coupling is a grooved pipe joining system. It uses a housing (coupling) that engages grooves rolled or cut into the pipe ends, with a gasket providing a pressure seal. It is known as the "fourth pipe joining method" (alongside welding, flanging and threading).

How to connect a Victaulic coupling to the hose?

Victaulic couplings are designed for rigid grooved pipe ends. By attaching a rigid grooved spigot (or a grooved steel tailpiece) to the end of the TPU layflat hose, the assembly can be quickly connected using a Victaulic coupling.
