Construction & Material
Three-Layer Composite Structure
Inner Liner & Outer Cover: Both layers are manufactured from premium thermoplastic polyurethane, offering outstanding abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and weather resistance. Thermoplastic polyurethane is recognized as one of the most abrasion-resistant elastomeric materials available.
Reinforcement Layer: Embedded throughout the hose wall is a circular woven high-tenacity polyester yarn reinforcement. Utilizing the "through-the-weave" extrusion process, the reinforcement is fully encapsulated by TPU without the use of glues or adhesives, forming a single homogenous construction.This reinforcement provides exceptionally high tensile strength and prevents longitudinal extension when pulled or pressurized, eliminating delamination and twisting.
Key Material Properties
Corrosion Resistance: Highly resistant to commonly used chemicals in oilfield applications, as well as UV radiation, hydrolysis, and microbial attack, making it suitable for long-term outdoor and harsh environment use.
Abrasion Resistance: TPU exhibits one of the highest levels of abrasion resistance available, specifically designed for dragging operations across rugged terrain and extreme conditions.
Smooth Inner Wall: The inner surface is extremely smooth with a low friction coefficient, minimizing fluid resistance and ensuring optimal flow efficiency under high-pressure conditions.
Applications
Hydraulic Fracturing: Designed for fracturing fluid transfer in shale oil and gas development, suitable for both onshore and offshore drilling platforms, fracking sites, and production facilities.
Industrial Fluid Transfer: Compatible with a wide range of fluids including fresh water, produced water, drilling fluids, acids, and light oil products.
Mining & Dewatering: Ideal for slurry transfer in open-pit mines and industrial dewatering operations.
Agricultural Irrigation: Suitable for liquid manure transfer and as mainline drag hose for irrigation systems.
Installation & Handling
Lightweight & Layflat Design: The hose can be flattened when not in use, occupying minimal storage space and facilitating convenient transport and storage.Seamless production lengths up to 200 meters or longer are available, reducing the number of field connections.
Quick Coupling System: Compatible with a wide range of industrial quick couplings including Storz, Victaulic, Camlock, and Bauer fittings, enabling rapid connection and disconnection.
Simple Installation Procedure:
Spread the hose flat on a clean, level surface to prevent tangling or twisting;
Clean the connector surface to remove any dirt or debris;
For threaded connections, wrap Teflon tape around the threads or install a rubber gasket for sealing protection;
Carefully tighten the fitting, avoiding over-tightening which may damage threads or the hose;
Conduct a low-pressure water test after installation to check for any leakage.
Operating Temperature Range: -40°C to +70°C (-40°F to +158°F), with intermittent use capable of withstanding higher temperatures.
Service Life
The TPU Fracturing Hose, with its sophisticated structural design and carefully selected raw materials, delivers a service life significantly exceeding that of conventional rubber hoses or metal pipes under normal operating conditions.
Through a series of long-term tests, the design life meets industrial requirements for extended service.
